ENVIRONMENTAL EXCURSION TO CHOWKI, BAKSA
Nagrijuli Tamulpur Baksa 18 December 2013:
        The teaching and non-teaching of Khatarbari High School, 
Nagrijuli arranged a staff-cum family Environmental Excursion to Chowki in the eastern part on Manas National Park. It is a beautiful place bordering Bhutan on the east northern part of the baksa district of BTAD. They arranged a bus and two wingers where altogether 87 people gathered at the place at aound 10.35 A.M. They had arranged necessary things the day ahead and three cooks were there to help in the process. It is mentioned that last year the staff and no-teaching staff and their family went to Bhairob Kunda on the occasion of new year 2013.
 A collection of the beautiful photos and the scenery on the occasion has been posted there.   
Sir Parag Sarma was the man behind this arrangement who was assisted by Sir Krishna Kanta Brahma, Kameswar Daimary, Sir Rajib Boro and Sir Soneswar Boro.
The team congratulates all the picnickers for their co-operation and helping hand.

BAKSA BTAD ASSAM

       It is a matter of great pride that the the Govt. of Assam initiated a resolution to upgrade some of the High Schools into Model Schools in response to the Directives of the Ministry of Human Resource Dept. Govt. of India. The aim was to offer continuous quality education and to produce good citizens of the country.
       Khatarbari High School is one of the few schools which is selected for upgradation of Model Schools which would comprise of good building, infrastructure and hostel facilities for the girl students. It is estimated that the proposed grant for the Model School is about 13.6 crore (not confirmed)in Indian Rupees and as such, we the Managing Body, Parents, students asn teachers as well are happy that in years to come we would have a good infrastructure and accomodation to cater to the poor students of the area.

HAPPY CHILDREN'S DAY

KHATARBARI HIGH SCHOOL, NAGRIJULI

DATED 14 NOVEMBER 2013 

      The Happy Children’s Day was held on 14th November, 2013 in the school auditorium cum classroom with a simple programme under the grace of Sir Raben Rabha. Sir Hiren Narzary chaired the programme and lamented that this was the first Children’s day celebration in the school.
     The programme was graced by Sir Parag Sarma and Sir Ratneswar Boro. Apart from that, Sir K. Daimary, Sir Rajib Rasumatary, Sir Saneswar Boro, Sir Hitesh Boro, Sir Mintu Boro and Madam along with other teachers, office clerks and manuals were present to make the programme a successful one.
It came to end with a light refreshment and tea.
    It is unfortunate that Sir Subhas Das H/M and Sir Suresh Boro Asstt. H/M were absent due to unavoidable circumstances. We regret at their absence.
