Gunotsov was observed in Khatarbari HS with much fanfare and merriment. It was beginning with the opening of the days session by lighting a sits and cutting ribbon. The programme started with the morning prayers by the students and other activities. Mr .Bipul Kalita the honourable external of Gunotsov initiated the days activities with full dedicated and co operation. He was very cordial in dealing with the activities.

  The third phase of Gunosav has been held in 13 districts in Assam and along with this Gunosav was held different parts of Baksa district. Keeping this in pace, Gunotsav was held at Khatarbari High School at Nagrijuli with much fanfare and jubilant.  Earlier of the day the students, well wishers, teachers and guardians welcomed the External Evaluator sir Azahar Ali Ahmed, a renown education from Hawli. The programme started with the Assembly prayers and some school activities. Later on the written portion of the Gunisav was held under the invigilation of teaches and headmaster. After the lunch, the part of school extra curricular activities were performed. after reading and writing  Dance,  singing,  recitation and other colourful activities were conducted. 
   In the end sir Ali gave a short valuable speech and hinted that parents play a pivotal role in shaping the future of their children.  He advised parents to avoid giving access to mobile and computers and bikes and cars to their children.
   "In the present day world,  education system is monitored by not tripolar process but its supported by four poles: students, school, curriculum and parents" sir Ali said. . The day of Gunosav came to an end with vote of thanks from the head master Sir John Boro.

Nagrijuli 14 May 2017:
The staff students and members of the managing commitee of Khatarbari High School celebrated the Farewell Function of Jatindra Nath Das who has retired from his service. The students union of the school arranged a befitting programmee to make the event more colourful.
Hailing from Bhakatpara, Tamulpur under the baksa district of Assam, he joined in the school on 1st October 1978. Born in a poor family in 1st March 1957 he studied in his village and showed excellency in his school times.
As a teacher, he is dedicated, punctual and most adorable. His sense of humour and smiling face ran throughout his school life.

DISTRICT LEVEL ANNUAL INTER SCHOOL TOURNAMENT AT MUSHALPUR

Mushalpur 16 July2014: The inter District Football and Kabaddi Competition was held at Mushalpur H.S School with three days of programme. The Khatarbari H.S was the winner in the Zonal Level Competition and as such a group of football team compromising of 16 players went to the destination. The team was led by Thela of Khatarbari village with Jwngsar Baro as the team captain. The team was defeated by a school from Jalah Zone.

ENVIRONMENTAL EXCURSION TO CHOWKI, BAKSA
Nagrijuli Tamulpur Baksa 18 December 2013:
        The teaching and non-teaching of Khatarbari High School, 
Nagrijuli arranged a staff-cum family Environmental Excursion to Chowki in the eastern part on Manas National Park. It is a beautiful place bordering Bhutan on the east northern part of the baksa district of BTAD. They arranged a bus and two wingers where altogether 87 people gathered at the place at aound 10.35 A.M. They had arranged necessary things the day ahead and three cooks were there to help in the process. It is mentioned that last year the staff and no-teaching staff and their family went to Bhairob Kunda on the occasion of new year 2013.
 A collection of the beautiful photos and the scenery on the occasion has been posted there.   
Sir Parag Sarma was the man behind this arrangement who was assisted by Sir Krishna Kanta Brahma, Kameswar Daimary, Sir Rajib Boro and Sir Soneswar Boro.
The team congratulates all the picnickers for their co-operation and helping hand.
