Founder HM Ishahak Soren's Demise Condoled

Beloved Retired Headmaster Mr. Isahak Soren Passes Away; Memorial Gathering Announced

Khatarbari, April 13, 2025 — The Khatarbari High School community is mourning the loss of its esteemed former headmaster, Mr. Isahak Soren, who passed away on the evening of April 12, 2025, at around 8:30 PM. Mr. Soren, remembered for his wisdom, dedication, and unwavering commitment to education, served the institution with distinction for many years.

In honor of his memory and to offer condolences to his bereaved family, a gathering has been organized by the school staff. The event will take place on April 13, 2025, starting at 8:00 AM from Khatarbari High School. All staff members, students, alumni, and well-wishers are invited to join in paying their last respects to the late Mr. Soren.

Staff Secretary Ratneswar Baro expressed deep sympathy on behalf of the school, stating, “Let us come together to remember his contributions and express our support to his family in this difficult time. May his soul rest in peace.”

Mr. Soren’s legacy as a dedicated educator and leader will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A Joyful Celebration of International Yoga Day at Khatarbari High School!

On June 21st, 2024, Khatarbari High School reverberated with the spirit of well-being as we celebrated International Yoga Day! The day was filled with a variety of activities and programs designed to introduce everyone to the benefits of this ancient practice.
A Day of Exploration and Inner Peace
The morning began with an invigorating yoga session led by experienced instructors. Students, teachers, and staff alike participated, following along as they learned and practiced various postures (asanas) and breathing exercises (pranayama). The atmosphere was filled with a sense of calm and focus, setting the tone for the rest of the day.
Engaging Activities for All
Following the yoga session, there were informative workshops on the history and philosophy of yoga, its impact on mental and physical health, and how to incorporate yoga into daily life. Interactive sessions allowed participants to ask questions and gain a deeper understanding of this holistic practice.
Celebrating the Creative Spirit
The artistic side of yoga was explored through a vibrant poster-making competition. Students created visually appealing posters depicting the various aspects of yoga and its importance in our lives. The winning entries were displayed with pride, promoting awareness and appreciation for yoga.
